Born and raised in St. Louis, Elizabeth Wohlstadter grew up in the middle of the Midwest, on the border between Northern and Southern cultures (depending on who you ask). As for many, her love of writing was born from a deep love for reading, sparked by an early desire to outpace her older brother in the race to learn how to read.

Though her competitive nature tempered as she grew up, Elizabeth’s drive and desire to learn, grow, and improve have stayed the same.

After obtaining a B.S. with Honors in Computational Neuroscience at Carnegie Mellon University, Elizabeth took up a Professional Writing position at a consulting firm based outside D.C. Here, she’s taken on more responsibilities, worn many hats, and is now a Content Strategist supporting teams as a “jack of all trades” across the company.
